Human

Arts Fishing Club

People these days don't want to search themselves for answers
We just look um up on our phones
People these days are too afraid to be the first dancers
To step out on the floor
But what ever happened to cops and robbers in the woods
If you didn't come back bloody and bruised you didn't play no good

But now it's sex and drugs and rock n' roll
For all us fools searching for our souls
Human
I don't feel very Human anymore

People these days learn what romance is
From divorce and internet porn
People these days think we're taking chances
When we try to keep the promises we've sworn
But what ever happened to cops and robbers in the woods
The good guys were good but at least the bad guys were true to their word

Now it's just sex and lies and rock n' roll
For all us fools searching for our souls
Human
I don't feel very human anymore

People these days are so much more connected
But somehow we're feeling so alone
Seems like these days I'm a little bit defective
Like I forgot how to love more than I forgot before

But whatever happened to cops and robbers in the woods
