On the western edge of town, the grass is coming in.
And all of my good friends, are waiting for the heat, to warm the water in their pools.
They're sick and tired of school.
Winters gone along with our responsiblities.
Once again we're free, to roam the place, that we have claimed our home and disagree, on the stupidest of things.

I can feel the end of something here.
I've been dreading it for all these years.

We have just weeks to celebrate our friendship and our youth.
It's the last thing that we'll do.
Before the stress of growing up, consumes us and we stop all our careless thoughts.
I wish that we could run away, from plans and not look back.
But life changes so fast.
The future looms in front of us, and scares us half to death.
We'll soon be silhouette.

I can feel the end of something here.
I've been dreading it for all these years.
Once again, we're smiling when we hear,
That spring is coming earlier this year.
