If this world doesn’t take your hand,
it will only knock you down.

I had to learn this the hard way,
and I’ll never be the same.
For every sleepless night kept up by thoughts of better things, I can name a million better memories.
Death is certain, and that’s for sure.
It’s up to us what happens before.
One day not too far from now, this is gonna have to end.
I will not just sit around, and ask where my life went.
Recite your memories. Hold on to your friends.
Cling to the times you shared. Love what you did.
