Metallica anunciou, nesta segunda-feira (28), seu novo álbum, que se chamará "72 Seasons". O disco será lançado no dia 14 de abril do ano que vem, através do selo próprio da banda, a Blackened Recordings, e contará com produção de Greg Fidelman, ao lado do frontman James Hetfield e do baterista Lars Ulrich.

Além do anúncio do sucessor de “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct”, de 2016, o Metallica também anunciou uma nova turnê e liberou uma amostra do que os fãs encontrarão neste novo trabalho, a faixa "Lux Æterna".
