Pelo visto, a espera por um novo álbum do Radiohead, que já está indo para oito anos, irá se estender por 2024. Para compensar, os fãs do quinteto poderão ouvir mais um álbum do The Smile, o mais do que bem sucedido projeto montado por Jonny Greenwood e Thom Yorke, guitarrista e vocalista da banda, com o baterista Tom Skinner.
A soturna e experimental "Wall Of Eyes", que acaba de ser lançada, será a faixa título do segundo álbum do trio, que sai no dia 26 de janeiro. Com algo de bossa nova, no uso de acordes dissonantes e batida típica do gênero, a música ganhou um clipe igualmente fora dos padrões feito pelo cineasta Paul Thomas Anderson, de "Ouro Negro", "Magnólia" e "Liquorice Pizza", todos filmes que tiveram a sua trilha feita por Greenwood.
