She says I overreacted, but she’s so distracted
By all that she could be if she just let go of me
Thinks it’s her last chance to be somebody

She still tells me that she loves me but it’s not like before

Everybody gets lost sometime
We all want what we can’t have
When everything comes to easy
Then everyone can lose himself or herself
I know we both got lost when it felt so right
Now she’s just lost

And now she says she’s learning and the fire’s still burning
But she can be so cold when I need someone to hold onto
She’ll leave / she needs to be someone

I wish she knew what she’d be losing
No one to blame it’s her own choosing…but I know
