Heddy always was a decent kid, till the years reached seventeen
I dunno what if he ever thought about, or the things he might have been.
But one by one he just cast aside
All the people who were by his side
But I suppose everybody has their dream

The big ideas and the grandest plans, all the ideas in his head
Don`t translate to his way of life or the bad things that he said
But still the friends all stayed around
Even when he tried to knock them down
But in the end he was the one who walked away.

Heddy had to go
He really couldn`t stay
For something in his mind
Kept gnawing at his brain
Didn`t say goodbye, there was nothing left to show.

How many people has he let down, well I guess there`s only one.
Look to yourself, you`re the only one who controlled the things you`ve done
The brief success didn`t chase away
The disappointments of yesterday
It`s only now that you realise what`s become.


The years went by and he lived his life though it wasn`t what he planned.
It wasn`t bad, but it wasn`t good, time had dealt an average hand.
Then he`d remember the way things where
