The Last Strangers

Outside

The Last Strangers

Outside is so beautiful
At the same time everything and nothing sounds
People, nature, god and technology
Everything I don't have necessarily to believe

It's lost to be found
It's lost to be found

Blue and green waves through the window glass
That white might be a cloud and it shall pass
Nothing of this would happen if we were outside
This wouldn't be a mistake, there wouln't be lies

We would begin again
Again and again
And it would be innocent, with no trace of a plan
But if I turn myself to you
If I devote my eyes to you
If I speak what is mean't to you
I'll have to step inside

Like a shot in the dark
That caught love by surprise
But there's not red through the window glass
There's no pain the could make me die
Knowing that's so beautiful outside

But that's the duty of us
And then now we must
Turn face to face and begin to say good bye
Here for the rich secrets and poor lives

Could we begin again
Again and again?
And it would be innocent
With no trace of a plan

But if I turn myself to you
If I devote my eyes to you
If I speak what it all means to you
I'll have to step inside

Like a shot in the dark
That caught love by surprise
But there's not red through the window glass
There's no pain the could make me die
Knowing that's so beautiful outside
