Sandcastle
I saw a house on a shore that was standing tall
And across the water I heard a call
The sound of everything
she loved just fell to pieces in the tide

Seasons passed and they shook those walls
Would her heartlast through it all
I waded to my chest
and drowned a little just to watch the fire

So can someone tell me

Why she looks in the mirror thinking it's her fault
When she was the foundation

but I know she can't hear me talk
So I just get frustrated

Cause I can't watch the sandcastle fall to the ground

I saw a light burning out from across the waves
Try to fix it but I know that can't I change
